DG's Dearborn Protocol Adapters (DPAs) interconnect in-vehicle communication networks and PCs!

Dearborn Protocol Adapter III Plus  (DPA III Plus)

Part Number: DG-DPAIII Plus/T

Our DPA III is a series of hardware adapters that belong to the DPA product family – a group of tools used to interconnect serial communication networks and PC computers. It is supplied with the TruckConnectTM software library that is included with all DPA family products to provide flexibility across all hardware platforms and networks. The DPA III programming interface includes an RP1210A interface and a C library API for Windows. To reduce PC computer overhead demand, the J1939 transport protocol is supported in the hardware.

For the RS-232 versions, the Plus mode supports backwards compatibility with existing hardware such as Kentmore, Cummins Inline I, Bendix, and more.

With its ruggedized metal enclosure and wide operating voltage range, the DPA III has a high reliability rate with thousands deployed in the field.

Supported Protocols and APIs: DG-DPA III Plus /T (RS-232) – CAN (canbus), GMLAN, GMUART, ISO11898 (CAN), J1587, J1708, J1850 GM (Class 2), J1922, J1939, J1979, J2284, J2411 (GM SW), KWP2000 (ISO14230) with wrapper DLL, Pass-Through, SWCAN, RP1210 and LabVIEW.
Note: Single-wire CAN (J2411), GM LAN, J2284 (High speed CAN), ISO9141-2 are available as an option.

Also available upon request (RS-232 versions only):
Supported Protocols and APIs: DG-DPA III Plus /F – CAN (J1939, J2284), Single-wire CAN (J2411), ISO 9141, J1850 PWM (Ford SCP), and J1708.
Supported Protocols and APIs: DG-DPA III Plus /MH – J1939/CAN, ISO 9141, J1850 VPWM (GM Class 2), Haldex, ATEC1, and J1708.
