Our Fiber Optic Bridge hardware adapter works as a pass-through hardware interface to translate fiber-optic signal to the original vehicle network signal for connection to any user application. Paired with our Fiber Optic Satellite Module, it gives you an isolated, non-electrical interface between a device under test and external data collection equipment. This lets you conduct precision device testing in an EMC environment.

Supported Protocols: CAN (canbus), ISO15765, J1850 GM (Class 2), J1850 DCX, J1939, J1979, J2284, J2411 (GM SW), KWP2000 (ISO14230).

The part number for each Fiber Optic Satellite Module is DG-GRYPH-FO-MOD-X (where the 'X' represents an alphabetic letter of a specific module.) Refer to the Fiber Optic Products Data Sheet (above) for more information about how to order a specific Satellite Module.

Note: You must also order at least one Satellite Module for your Fiber Optic Bridge to communicate using the protocol of the selected Satellite Module.

Note: Includes Fiber-optic bridge hardware, satellite module, DB9 pigtail, DB15 pigtail, and two 10M Fiber-optic cables.

    Fiber Optic Bridge is an inexpensive solution that you can use for test chamber measurement applications. It can be used where devices need to be tested in an EMC environment to monitor radiated emissions, electrostatic discharge, and other parameters that need to be isolated from the effects of external influence to avoid inaccurate data measurement.
