Our GRYPHON ® S3 package is one of the newest of DG Technology's tools. Gryphon S3 comes standard with wireless connectivity and includes an OBD-II cable. This is one versitile product!

Featuring our high-end analyzer, Hercules, and compact S3 wireless hardware, this package is designed to support advanced communication with in-vehicle networks for use in a variety of OEM and supplier applications including diagnostics, simulation, and various custom applications. Hercules supports CAN, Class2, and LIN protocols along with full support for GMLAN diagnostics. It also includes graphical display, real-time data playback, and hot-key service sending, among many other features.

The Gryphon S3 hardware is compact, fast, and has built-in support for CAN (single wire, dual), along with one expansion slot to support a specific plug-in protocol module. Additionally, it includes 32 MB of RAM standard, and a 10/100T Ethernet connection.

Supported Protocols (Gryphon S3 package): CAN (canbus), DeviceNet, GMLAN (including SW-CAN for GMW3089 revision 2.2), Honda, ISO9141-2, ISO11898 (CAN), ISO11992, ISO15765, J1850 GM (Class 2), J1850 Ford (SCP), J1850 DCX, J1939, J1979, J2284, J2411 (GM SW), J2534, KWP2000 (ISO14230), LIN, SCI - Chrysler, SWCAN, UBP.

For further use of the Gryphon S3 hardware only, the following protocols are available:
KWP2000/ISO 9141, Ford J1850 (PWM, SCP), DCX J1850 (VPW), Fault-Tolerant CAN, and Honda UART.

    GRYPHON S3® is also used as an interface for our Hercules CAN Analyzer software tool. Hercules is our high performance Windows analyzer software with protocol support for CAN (canbus), GMLAN, ISO11898 (CAN), ISO15765, J1850 GM (Class 2), J1850 Ford (SCP), J1850 DCX, J1939, J1979, J2284, J2411 (GM SW), LIN and SWCAN.
