DPA 5 Announcement, 06/04/2026

Effective 06/04/2026, we have officially discontinued Windows support for our DPA 5 and older model Dearborn Protocol Adapter hardware, which is now over 10 years old. To ensure optimal performance and security, we encourage customers to upgrade to our latest DPA XL, enhanced with CyberGuard™ protection, advanced features, and full Windows compatibility.

What This Means for You

As technology evolves, older hardware cannot support the advanced software and security protocols required by modern Windows operating systems. Because the older DPA 5 is more than 10 years old, it will no longer function with computers that have the latest security updates for the Windows 11 operating system.

Please Note:

• No Further Updates: The legacy hardware will not receive any further software updates or patches.
• System Requirements: Continued use of this device may result in compatibility issues and performance limitations.
• All Attempts Exhausted: Multiple solutions have been attempted and all attempts to gain exemption from Microsoft have failed.
